Can Men's Rings Be Resized?
Is Your Finger Changing Size? Here's What to Know About Resizing Mens Rings

Have you ever noticed your finger shrinking or growing after a long day at work? Well, don't worry! It's probably just the weather. But what do you do if your finger size actually changes? Don't fret.

How Does Ring Resizing Work?
Ring resizing is the process of changing the size of a ring by either adding or subtracting metal from it. This process involves cutting and reshaping the ring, so it should only be performed by an experienced jeweler who knows what they’re doing. Depending on the type of metal used for the ring, some amount of soldering may need to be done in order to complete the job correctly.

It's important to note that not all metals can be resized. For example, titanium and tungsten rings cannot usually be resized because they are too hard and brittle; however, there are some exceptions depending on the type of metal used and the design of the ring itself. Gold and silver rings are much easier to resize than other metals because they are softer and easier to work with.

What is The Cost of Resizing a Men's Ring?
The cost of resizing a men’s ring will vary based on several factors such as the type of metal used for the ring, its design complexity, and where you take it for resizing (some jewelers charge more than others). In general, most jewelry stores charge around $100+ for a basic resize job, but this price can go up significantly depending on how complicated or intricate the job is. Additionally, some shops may also charge extra fees if they have to special order any parts needed for the job or if they need to use specialized tools or equipment in order to complete it properly. If the ring is made from a material that cannot be resized, then you may need a size exchange instead, in which a brand new ring is made in exchange for the old one. Size Exchange fees differ from shop to shop.

Resizing mens rings is possible but it isn’t always easy or cheap! Before attempting any ring resizing project yourself make sure you understand exactly what needs to be done in order for it to come out looking great. With proper care and attention, we hope that your beloved men’s rings will last forever!
