Ring Sizing Guide

Ring Sizing Guide

Getting the perfect fitting ring can seem overwhelming at first, but with a little information it’s a task that anyone can achieve. Our rings come in three different fit types — Comfort-fit, Beveled-Fit, and Standard-Fit. The majority of our rings come in Comfort-fit, but some come with a Beveled-Fit or Standard-Fit.

Comfort-Fit

Comfort-Fit

Designed with a rounded interior profile for a more ergonomic fit. Popular for daily wear as the rounded interior reduces friction and allows easy movement. Recommended for larger knuckles, a relaxed fit, or wider rings.

Beveled-Fit

Beveled-Fit

Features a bevel on the interior edge that reduces pressure on the finger and allows for smoother on and off. Offers a balance between comfort and traditional fit.

Standard-Fit

Standard-Fit

The most traditional ring fit with a straight, flat interior. Easy to size, though some may find it less comfortable for extended daily wear, especially on wider rings.

Getting the Right Size

  • If you’re not used to wearing a ring, most things will feel too tight to start out. However, getting the ring too loose can cause it to catch on things or possibly fall off and become lost.
  • Your finger can fluctuate in size throughout the day due to temperature and activity. In warmer months the ring will fit tighter, and in cooler months it will fit looser.
  • Finger shape also plays a part in how your ring will fit. If your finger is largest at the base rather than at the knuckle, the ring should fit snugly at the base without causing an indent. If your finger is largest at the knuckle, you should be able to get it on and off without much struggle — you may need to twist it once or twice.
  • We do not recommend online printable ring sizers. The safest option is to order a set of our sizers, which cover US sizes 5–16 including most half sizes. We use United States/Canada sizing set to ISO standards. If you need help converting international sizes, contact us for assistance.

To order sizers, select “Send me a Ring Sizer Kit First” on the product page, or order sizers here. When ordered with a ring, sizers are free but may have an additional shipping fee. Sizers are generally shipped the following business day.

The Bend & Twist Method

When determining your ring size, we ask you to size your finger using the “Bend and Twist” method. Once you have a ring sizer over your knuckle, you should have a bit of “resistance” in taking it off.

When removing the sizer, bend your knuckle slightly and twist — don’t pull straight back over your knuckle, as it will catch the skin and not give an accurate size. We also recommend wearing the sizer for a while and testing it on and off at multiple times during the day as your finger fluctuates in size.

Your size, your responsibility. Because we cannot size you personally and fit preferences vary, the ring will be made in the size you provide. Please double check all options before placing your order.

Once you receive your sizers and know your size, email us at contact@revolutionjewelry.com or confirm your ring size here. Once confirmed, your ring will be scheduled for production.

Most rings are completed within 3–5 weeks from the time we know your size; however, as every ring is made to order, some can take longer. If ordered as a rush, the soonest it can normally be completed is 2 weeks from the date we receive your size.
