Our black and gold wedding bands are built primarily in Black Zirconium — a metal that undergoes a surface transformation under heat, converting the exterior into a deep ceramic layer that's permanently, irreversibly black. The gold you see is real gold inlay, precision-set into a machined channel in the band.

We offer gold inlay in three options:

Yellow Gold — the classic. Warm, rich, and high contrast against the black exterior. The combination most men picture when they search for a black and gold ring.

Rose Gold — warmer and more distinctive than yellow. The rose tone against a black or Damascus exterior has become one of our most requested combinations. A modern look without trying too hard.

White Gold — clean and sharp. The contrast is more subtle than yellow or rose — sophisticated rather than bold.

BEYOND BLACK ZIRCONIUM

Gold inlay isn't limited to Black Zirconium. Some of our most striking black and gold combinations pair gold with:

Damascus Steel — the forged pattern in the steel gives the gold inlay something to play against. Two materials with visible character, one ring.

Black Titanium — lighter than Black Zirconium with a slightly different surface texture. A good choice if you want the black and gold look in a lighter-weight band.

CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER

Every black and gold wedding band we make is custom. Your choice of gold color, gold karat (10K, 14K, 18K), inlay width, band width (4mm–10mm+), and finish on the exterior (matte, brushed, hammered, polished).

The gold inlay width alone changes the entire look of the ring. A 1mm inlay is a subtle accent. A 3mm inlay is a statement.
