Black Titanium Ring Info

Features and Highlights

Titanium is an important element because of its many uses. It is found in nearly all living things, water, rocks, and soil. Its hypoallergenic properties account for its extensive use in medical implants. Titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metallic element, making it an ideal choice for components in the aerospace industry and in military applications.

Many of our black titanium rings are made using a titanium and zirconium alloy. This gives the black titanium a similar coloring to our black zirconium rings, but like our black zirconium rings it isn't pure black. You can learn more about the coloring on our black zirconium ring info page.

Wear and Care

Black Titanium rings need no special care. They can be worn in all kinds of environments and conditions. The metal will scuff and show wear over time but holds up to a great deal of abuse without cracking, breaking, bending, etc. It will not fade or change color.

Cleaning

Black Titanium rings need no special care. As long as they don't contain meteorite, they can be cleaned with regular jewelry cleaner. If your ring does contain meteorite please refer to the meteorite cleaning instructions.

Customization and Personalization

Black Titanium rings have many options for customization and can be combined with many materials, such as meteorite, hardwood, camo, carbon fiber, etc. Titanium rings are often personalized with such inlays, gemstone and/or diamond settings, laser engravings, and combinations of each. It is one of the most versatile metals that we offer and is often chosen for these reasons.
