What Does a Lifetime Warranty on a Wedding Ring Cover?

The Revolution Lifetime Warranty covers refinishing and normal wear and tear at no charge, plus repair or replacement if your ring has a manufacturing defect. It exists so your jewelry remains as exceptional as the day you received it.

Lifetime

Length of coverage

No charge

Refinishing and normal wear

3, 5, or 10

Years of optional Loss and Damage Protection

One

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

It covers refinishing and normal wear and tear. If you ever want to shine your ring back up or buff out some of those old scratches, we will refinish the ring and bring it as close to new condition as we can.

There is no charge for these services. You are responsible for the cost of shipping both ways.

Two

What happens if a ring has a manufacturing defect?

Send it back to us for evaluation. If we determine the problem is a manufacturing defect, we will repair the ring or, at our discretion, replace it. If the original design is no longer available, we will offer a replacement of equal value to the original purchase price.

Natural variations or inclusions in the materials are not considered defects. They are part of what gives each piece its character.

Three

How do different materials wear over time?

Gold is softer than alternative metals and develops a patina over time, and many men consider that character, not damage. Polished finishes on black titanium can show micro-scratches over time.

On titanium, matte and brushed finishes wear better than polished, which is worth knowing when you design your own ring.

Good To Know Up Front

Four

What sits outside the warranty, and what covers it?

The warranty does not cover lost or stolen rings, discoloration from chemical exposure like cosmetics, pools, or hot tubs, or service performed by anyone other than Revolution, including size adjustments and engravings, which voids the warranty.

We also offer an option to add Loss and Damage Protection, which covers your ring if it is lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged. It is separate from the warranty, and you can purchase it along with your ring for 3, 5, or 10 years.

Five

Who is covered, and where do you go with questions?

The warranty is exclusive to the original purchaser. If you believe your ring has a manufacturing defect, return it to us for evaluation. If you have questions or need help with your piece, contact us and read the full terms on our warranty policy.

The short version

Covered for life

Refinishing and normal wear and tear are included at no charge, and manufacturing defects are repaired or replaced. You are responsible for shipping both ways.
